Canine bites piercing

Canine bites consist of two upper lip piercings (angel bites) and two bottom lip piercings (snake bites) Individually those sets of piercings are not hard to come by, but together you'll find it most people have not seen or heard of them. In person or online they are rare to find. To pull off the combination you usually have to leave the rest of your face (except ears) piercing free, in order to keep your face from looking cluttered with piercings. Canine Bites and shark bites (two lower left lip piercings and two lower right lip piercings) are the two rarest combination of piercings, although shark bites or monster bites which ever you prefer to call them are just like canine bites, they don't have an official name due to the fact they are so uncommon. 9 out of 10 piercings shops will say "what?" if you ask for canine bites or shark bites. My personal views on the piercings are that they are pretty epic if you can pull them off. I wish the internet had more photos of these awesome combinations of piercings. Here are two photos from Stillare I hope you enjoy! Well now you know:) thanks for reading!

  3. Most shops say "What?" because these terms are not accurate terms. They are "teen slang" for these piercings. To professional body piercers, these are all LABRET piercings. When asking for "bits," you should ask for "two labret piercings." And when the piercer marks you, you describe where you want them. Going into a professional shop and asking for "Monster Bites" will only get you laughed at man. Trust me, I laugh at people all the time (not to their faces, of course).

Any and ALL piercings around the lip are Labrets. A Labret piercing is, according to the official definition, "a piece of jewelry worn in a perforation on the LIP."

It doesn't have to be in any particular place to be a Labret. ALL lip piercings are technically a Labret.

Some people wear studs, some wear rings.

    The more you know...
